Most messengers hide your messages from strangers. Glyphconnect also lets you hide them from everyone except the people you pick, in a language you designed yourself.
Every letter of your alphabet becomes a symbol you choose. Write in it, and your messages turn into glyphs. Share the alphabet with a friend and their app translates instantly. Everyone else sees only symbols. Underneath, the message is also protected by real end-to-end encryption, so the glyphs add a layer of fun and privacy on top, not instead.

No phone number, email or password. Your identity is a key pair created on your phone that never leaves it.
Build an alphabet in English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Polish or your own letters. Pick symbols by hand, randomize, or generate from a secret phrase.
Starting a chat or group in a language not everyone has? You see who can and can't read it, and choose to share it or send symbols only. Nothing is shared silently.
Every member gets their own separately encrypted copy, so there is no shared group key to leak, and a removed member simply stops receiving.
Add people by QR code, verify with safety numbers, approve message requests, block and report, lock the app with Face ID, and erase everything in one tap.
Scan a friend's QR code in person. Contacts are verified by signature, so nobody can pose as someone else.

Yes. There are no purchases, ads, subscriptions or trackers.
There are no accounts and no central database of users: your identity, keys and history stay on your phone, and every message is encrypted end to end. Between phones, messages travel through a blind relay that only ever holds encrypted data (for at most 14 days, if the recipient is offline). Direct phone-to-phone connections are not part of this first version.
They only work while both phones are online with the app open, they often need extra servers to get through mobile networks, and they reveal each person's IP address to the other. A relay that only sees ciphertext is more reliable and, for most people, more private. Direct connections are planned as an optional extra.
Yes, if you turn them on. The alert only says "You have a new message" with a count. It never shows who wrote or what they said, because the relay can't read your messages. You can turn alerts off at any time in the app.
Only people who accepted your language can translate them. Anyone else sees symbols. And the message is encrypted regardless, so a stranger on the network sees nothing at all.
Your identity and history exist only on your phone and are not backed up, so they can't be recovered by anyone. Install the app on a new phone and ask your contacts to add you again.
Glyphconnect is built for iPhone and iPad. An Android version is planned.
